More about me and this blog

Purpose-

My intent for this blog is to share stories and poems that are interesting but also carry a purpose.  To be determined what those are to you.  As I’ve gone along in life and had my own doses of happinesses and sadnesses, wondering about passion and purpose.  Polite prodding into the wounds of others as well as my own seems to be a kind of surgery I’m growing a knack for.  As far as conversations go, I’ve had lots of what I feel are omens towards being a creator.  Creator of what? (various forms of artistic expression made with love amongst other feelings). Better a creator than a destroyer.  If we all carry positive and negative rocks we can throw into life’s water, and each carries an energy that ripples out from the impact, why wouldn’t you choose to throw good rocks?  Ghandi said to BE the change you wish to see in the world.  To that end this blog will try to show people at least one more stair on the seemingly endless staircase of consciousness.

Who for?

This blog is for wordy hurtie people.  Nature lovers, music fiends, those in limousines.  Those into high cuisine.  Those tired of being so mean.  Those in love with Shel Silverstein.  Those drinking from old canteens.  Those who love Bruce Springsteen.  Those who don’t know love, only the push and shove.  Older colder folks, younger warmer ones too.  Pretty much the entire zoo.  Actually only those openminded.  How long until you find it?

A CALL TO ACTION

The great Alan Watts once said “if you’ve got the message, hang up the phone.”  Meaning if you understand what its all about you no longer need to look for it.  Just do it!  I personally ignored the ringing  phone for many years before hearing what I was being told by so many different people.   You should be doing this! You should be publishing! Teaching! Inspiring more than just one person at a time.  I got so thoroughly sick of hearing it that finally I said ok here goes.  So this blog is a chance to share my vision of the world with you all.   And enjoy the reflections you bring!

Donations

First comes the desire, then the fire, after the smoke.  I don’t mind being broke.  But thinking bigger than me, financially you have to come out of the weeds.  So many cool ideas I’ve got, some just cost a lot.  Until then I’ll spend time and words keeping myself unperturbed.  Loosely running around with verbs.

Love is free, ideas also. The jeans at the store cost more than you thought though. Insert you cash below, help to make these words glow. Getting to know your inner bro can take time and be expensive. Better to act than sitting pensive!
