There was a lighthouse named papa
On positivity he had a lotta
Love for his fellow man grand
Didn’t care if president or valet he’d shake your hand
Sure it was a little grandstand
Salesman had egos too
With the kindness sword he ran them through
And they all died smiling
Some of it grace some of it timing
To take the time to make you feel special
Was a feeling he gave me that I don’t wanna let go
Don’t fret though
The lighthouse stood a long while
And all the time carried his own style
Miss you papa haven’t seen you in a while
But the light shines out from my house now
Tears of joy furrow my brow
You taught me who I want to be now
